Paul Shinn is a freelance illustrator and comic artist based
in London. Paul uses a combination of hand-drawn and digital techniques in his illustration work, and likes to create images which make people smile. He has a BA degree in Typography & Graphic Communication and an MA in Illustration.

Paul has created illustrations for use in print and online. His images have appeared in ShellsuitZombie magazine, Amelia's Magazine and TwoFold Magazine, and he has produced a number of book covers for the author James Minter. His clients include British Gas, Hitachi Data Systems, the Elephant Family charity, Emmy The Great and Save The Children. Paul has worked with Sunset + Vine to produce a series of YouTube Draw My Life videos for the International Olympic Committee, Lord's Cricket Ground and Crufts.

Paul has self-published his own comic books as well as contributing to a number of anthology titles. Since April 2017 Paul has been one of the regular artists for's regular weekly column The Line It Is Drawn.
